Hi Janus, uploading is disabled for normal users to avoid copyright and youth protection issues. We don't use Commons, because we want to stay as independent as possible and it is not sure that the author of a certain image at Commons is okay with having his picture shown in an erotic context like Pornopedia. Instead, we ask the studios, actors and photographers (like Glenn Francis) directly for permission and upload their images to our Pool.
